Functieomschrijving

As procurement manager you will be handling yourself our contract manufacturing category plus potentially one more and you will be line responsible for a small team dealing with 2-3 of our other big spend categories. In this role you need to drive your own category and at the same time be active sparring for your team on task, challenges and strategies within their area of responsibility. You will in close co-operation with all relevant stakeholders at the different sites and business units be responsible for optimizing the sourcing solutions with consideration to total cost, quality and sustainability as well as a supplier mapping overview of our external manufacturing spend cross all involved areas. Once created within contract manufacturing you will identify potential sourcing projects to harmonization and standardize our terms and conditions through commercial negotiations. You are the driving force in creating the value optimization identified cross the categories you are directly and in-directly responsible for.

You will secure alignment cross all functions involved, and provide overview and clarity enabling all to stay informed and fell engaged. The ultimate goal: European harmonized/standardized contract manufacturing category delivering value to the business in form of, lower costs and better quality/service.

The Procurement Manager shall as well be a very active part in the overall development of the European procurement function.

Functie-eisen

• University degree or bachelor, or equivalent by job experience. Some kind of project management back-ground and strong procurement background as an advantage.
• Strong procurement background, used to keep many sourcing projects “live” at the same time.
• Good excel background and other analytical tools. Ability to apply all theoretical knowledge, experience, and skills into real work.
• Should cost calculations/understanding an advantage
• Clear understanding of and experience with processes and methods to effectively derive and deliver the needed data needed for further progression.
• Good at supplier selection and evaluation standards, processes, and methods; ability to use and develop methods, improve tools and documentation for evaluating, selecting, and certifying suppliers and partners.
• High capability to enhance development, implementation, training and follow up on projects launched.
• High skill set in international procurement with knowledge on communication skills.
• Strong negotiation skills on all levels.
• Guide stakeholders in contract management.
• Proven leadership skills.
